WWWforEurope at the 12th EUROFRAME Conference
Conference topic: Challenges for Europe 2050
Vienna, Austria, 12 June 2015
The EUROFRAME group of research institutes (CASE, CPB, DIW, ESRI, ETLA, IfW, NIESR, OFCE, PROMETEIA, WIFO) held its twelfth annual Conference on economic policy issues in the European Union in Vienna on June 12th, 2015. The aim of the conference was to provide an economic forum for debate on economic policy issues relevant in the European context.
In a policy panel, the central theses of WWWforEurope's synthesis report were discussed with stakeholders to gain valuable feedback. Karl Aiginger, Margit Schratzenstaller and Kurt Bayer offered perspectives on reconciling environmental sustainability and socio-economic targets, with commends by John FitzGerald (ESRI) and Albert van der Horst (CPB).
