Renaud Thillaye of Policy Network presented his latest WWWforEurope working paper (PDF link), co-authored with Ludek Kouba and Andreas Sachs, on reforming EU governance at the Progressive Economy Annual Forum 2014 on March 6th, 2014 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The forum is an initiative of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament. It provides a platform to test and disseminate new ideas and academic thinking among policy-makers. The scientific board includes high-level economists such as Josef Stiglitz, James Galbraith, Kate Pickett, Peter Bofinger and Jean-Paul Fitoussi.

The topic of this year's forum was "Inequality: Consequences for Society, Politics and People". In a parallel academic session dedicated to "Reforming European Economic Governance", Renaud Thillaye presented the approach developed in his last paper, namely a focus not only on the economic and political desirability of reforms (such as EU wage coordination and contractual arrangements) but also on their institutional feasibility.
